Loving Family In Divine Mercy Hill

A picture perfect family who is dear to my heart. He is a hardworking Engineer and always a father figure to his children. She is a working mom as well as a super-mom who managed both worlds in iquilibrium in every aspect. Before my flight to the US last Summer, I met the family at Gaisano Mall which is one of the busiest malls in my City and they are having window shopping for the baby girl's dress for the Reading of Honor. Yep! She is an honor pupil and who could be more happier than the parents right? Oh! I did too. I am just an Aunt but, I am equally proud to have her as my niece being intelligent as she is. This picture was taken in one of their visits as a family in Divine Mercy Hills. As you notice, the statue is done. The girl carrying the baby? She is the mom. LOL! Yep. The 3 kids are all her children and the tallest is her oldest son. The father is not here coz he is working abroad. Isn't it amazing how kids grow so fast and it would only tell us one thing. We are getting older. Hahaha!

Adorable Hallowen Costumes- Part 2

Thanks so much wonderful people for taking time to leave a comment on my Part 1 Halloween Costumes, it meant so much because it proves that you are not tired reading it. As I promised, here are some more of the gorgeous characters in the party.

When I choose that my Halloween costume would be Pocahontas and not the scary one, my good friend chrisau said its more of a Disney character party....waaa...but, here she is. Pocahontas but she wanted to make it original, so she added a mask and mumbles a name of a Princess. She looks so adorable.
An Egyptian Princess, she is so gorgeous and very tall LOL! As you observed, my shot position is gazing up on her and she is my hubby's favorite among the characters in there. She is one of the many teenagers who come to the party and all dressed up.
A snap shot. I like her in the crowd. She is so sexy and very gorgeous. She is the Elf Princess for wearing the Mushroom Hat. Oh there were so many characters and I am just like a child enjoying and asking what are they wearing. I am like a trainee in photography too for not capturing the pictures that I see them so good.
Hahaha. He makes me laugh! He is the brother of the bride on that wedding/Halloween party. When I ask him to take his pictures, he got all his props and the cigar and pose like this. Wonderful!

The Genie in a bottle and the Major of Air Force... characters in a tv show. They are so amazing and lovely couple. The costumes look good on them and hey, the lady is so sexy and the man is so handsome. They look good together and one of my favorites too. Ohh, more to come.

Getting Ready for Halloween Party

These pictures are so creepy to me! This is a mask that I will be forced to wear tonight for a Halloween Party. It look scary already when I took the picture in our living room and I am alone. I might ask my husband that I will just wear a witch hat shown below and not the mask.

A couple requested my hubby to wear a Jason mask. This may sound weird but, this party is actually our business transaction with this couple who wanted to have a wedding ceremony in a Halloween Setting. My hubby is a Notary Public here in Florida so, he can perform ceremony in the State of Florida at reasonable price . Yep! It is all new to me. Welcome to Kennedy Space Center. Have the opportunity to meet a real members of NASA’s Astronaut Corps, ahh...i missed it beacuse I tour the area and prioritized in taking pictures. Dang! You will gonna expect more fun from an inspiring day at Kennedy Space Center. NASA’s launch headquarters is the only place on Earth where you can tour launch areas, meet an astronaut, see giant rockets, train in spaceflight simulators, and more more fun ! I didn't do it in 1 day though so, i will be back. After all, it is just less than an hour to travel from home! Be posting more pictures soon.

Free Cataract Surgery

This is me and mom last January in Divine Mercy Hill. The purpose of the shot is to capture the background view facing the Statue of the Divine Mercy. We are actually standing on the top steps beside the outdoor altar. The background area is intended for participants , devotees and guests who come to praise and witness the Religious Celebration. As you can see it, the landscaping is very bare. That was 10 months ago. My mom and I visit that place every first Friday of the month together with other members of the Divine Mercy Group, La Buena Vida Chapter. We take turns to donate for the gas and pay our shuttle driver. On this very day, our main petition and prayers is for my mother's successful cataract operation. She was being diagnosed of having cataract in both eyes two years ago. But the doctor can't proceed the operation because of her High Blood Pressure. Second main problem was, the health insurance I got for her told me she is no longer covered because she belongs now to a senior citizen category. I was devastated and nowhere to turn to. Tough times indeed! It maybe just a simple cataract operation but we need at that time 20,000 pesos. So, i tried looking for an organization that could give her free cataract surgery. I did all the means of looking using the Internet and connection in medical community. Blessing in disguise, our City Government offered free surgery for senior citizens at that time and cataract surgery is included in that project. Praise to God really because I only spent the amount of eyeglass for shielding her eyes after operation. Sad to note though, my mom's one eye is totally blind after the operation last February because of Hyphema and she refused to have another surgery.

In Moments Like This

Divine Mercy Hill,one of my favorite places in Cagayan de Oro City. This is situated off highway in El Salvador City and the Divine Mercy Statue of Jesus is 50 feet tall. According to CDOCentral, the statue is the tallest Divine Mercy in the whole world. Wow! I didn't know that.

Pupils on Fiesta Parade

These pictures are pupils in Agusan Elementary School, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines and some of them were my pupils in first grade. I miss them terribly. (Sigh!) My co-teacher Jena sent me these pictures for me to see the schools behind-the-scenes community activity. They are having the parade on the busy street and as you can see, half lane is still used for commuters. Though it is not visible in these pictures, there were several Barangay Police who manned the vicinity for children's safety on the street. This activity is a celebration of Nuestra Senora Virgin del Rosario Fiesta and the school is involved in some community activities like Street Parade and Dance Presentation.

Wilderness Lodge

This is one of the Disney's rustic charm resort. This Wilderness Lodge has equally gorgeous amenities and I happen to take these pictures while having my trail back to the lodge from the parking lot. The inside is so fascinating. I took videos of the inside , gonna post it next time. Very magestic place.

Third Presidential Debate - The Finale

This is the finale of the 3-parts debate. For those who missed the live telecast of the last Presidential Debate held in New York and for those who are curious about US Presidential Candidates from Democrats and Republican. I don't really like politics eventhough I am a Social Studies major. I took the study because of my interest of studying the norms and behavior of a community and society. But, maybe the

present "politics" fascinated me because Presidential Eletion is coming this November 4, thus my awareness widens and I choose to be informed. 1. None. Simply because I am having fun while doing household chores. If given the time I will and I can. My favorite is cooking and gardening. But since I work as a bread-winner, those who stays home certainly will do the household chores right?

Indiana Jones

This is the actual stage show of Indiana Jones in Walt Disney Orlando . I wish I have the latest zoom feature in my digi cam so that this will be more fun to watch. Anyway, Indiana Jones is one of my all time favorite movies. I can watch over and over and still finds it very heart racing with excitement. How amazing it is! The stage show is equally adventurous. The only difference with this setting is that they tell the movie secrets by sequence how the movie was done. The boulder they use in the movie is the same kind they used in the stage show and looks scary and gigantic but the secret was its not at all heavy ..... hehehe... the fire here is true though and so in the movies. Amazingly wonderful as always.

Caylee : Casey Anthony

She was indicted Tuesday on the following: first-degree murder (even though Caylee's body hasn't been found). 19-member Florida grand jury issued charges on Casey Anthony , 22 years old, mother of Caylee Anthony who was missing for more than 4 months now. The other charges are aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and four counts of lying to investigators in the death of her daughter. She was arrested four times and this time without bond. What is more sad about this story prior to the indicment was George Anthony, her father and grandfather of the missing child was subpoenaed to testify about the odor of human decomposition coming from Casey's car. FBI agent Nick Savage and Orange County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Forgery also testified , about a police dog detecting the scent of human decomposition in Casey's car trunk. I want to believe what the grandparents firm belief that Caylee, a 3 year old pretty baby is still alive but, forensic evidence prove them otherwise. I pray that FBI is wrong and Caylee is alive but, as of now...science says the truth.

I could'nt help but tell you how my husband and I are so childlike with our actions sometimes. I was grinning when I post this update. My husband wakes up early to report to his jury duty today and he is basically reluctant to go and leave me alone at home by myself. But then, he went to the Orange County Courthouse by 6:45 anyhow to be there at his call time at 8am. Meanwhile, today is also the schedule to hear George Anthony's testimony about the case of her daughter Casey on Missing Child Caylee Anthony . Since the case is considered high profile and very sensationalized , newsmen were gathered in the vicinity. At 12nn, my hubby call and told me to open the tv Channel 9, Channel 2 and Channel 6...he was basically passing from one channel to the other at the back of those reporters while they are reporting LIVE! OMG! What a sore to the tv viewers...LOL! He managed to behave anyhow...he was just talking to me on the phone as if he didn't know that the tv crew are broadcasting live. Wheew! He made me smile though! LOL!

My Halloween Costume

I always have a witch Halloween costume but, I would love to have a Pocahontas next time. That will be exciting. Last Saturday, I bought a pair of shoes but, good to use for a sexy witch. I don't know really. I am confused. I might wear me a flapper costume hehehe.

Amazing Race 13

One of my favorite shows back home is watching Hell's Kitchen, America's Top Model, Amazing Race and many others. Sometimes it is live and if it is not my hubby just told me who was eliminated and i had to find out why upon watching it. My favorite for this season is the Son and Mother team up. In the picture above, they are wearing red. I already saw teams that are hateful but as of now i gave considerations....it is too early to tell. They will travel 30,000 miles with five continents to hurdle in 23 days. I wonder if they have Philippines again this year. Wanna see them eating "balot" or " drive a carabao" LOL.
