Commemoration of the loved ones

These pictures was sent to me by my mom who visited my grandma in a Greenhills Memorial Park in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. We never celebrate Halloween Party but, we do commemorate our dead loved ones every November 1st and 2nd as All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day. Filipinos usually visits to the memorial park and built tents, brought foods, candles and make their estate beautiful and comforting like this. Here, my grandma lay together with her lifetime employers. They were so good to her and so, the family decided to have her in their resting memorial estate. Some of the surrounding areas were MAUSOLEUM, which is the resting abode of some of the wealthy family in my city. You can see it in the first picture. Some of it have centralized airconditioned room with cozy comfort rooms inside, wonderful chandelier and a refrigerator...yep, looks like a house already. That is how Filipinos spend for their passing loved ones. This park has amenities like Church, playing grounds, parking lot, wide 2 lane roads and not to mention it is overlooking the city. Filipinos jampacked in all cemeteries in the Philippines during these days. Not to mention that it is 24 hrs, yep...some stay overnight in the cemetery. It is a family tradition to be with those who passed away at least once a year.
