It hit me tonight. I got teary-eyed remembering Shana, Kevin and Emilia... I terribly miss you guys. I miss the house and I miss this little girl. Thank you so much for this stuffs. The words in the card struck my heart. I am so blessed to have met you. Thank you for the love you had shown. I truly appreciate it. I really treasured the moment I spent with you. I thought the three of us would witness how Emilia would start saying (in British accent) " No, mommy, I like the yellow dress". " Ah, Daddy, would you please buy me a thick balloon tomorrow"? LOL! I can hear her voice saying those sentences. Too bad, I will not be there to see her combing her long hair. Hmmm...SIGH!
Just teach her constantly on the strategy you already started. Those were brilliant and she is a fast learner. In four months time, she can spell the word LOL! Kidding....Find a cd that teaches the SOUNDS OF THE ALPHABET ... (not the letter names yet) if she can master the sound and the visual of the alphabet, she can read! I can bet on that. She is an eager learner and that is the reason why I said she is so smart.
