Chester M. McPhearson, Jr. Pier

This is a newly constructed pier and now open to the public. You will see this place in Front Beach, Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The old pier was damaged by Hurricane Katrina and so with other establishments and houses in this area. That was 2005 and after all these years, there are places here that did not recovered.
This is a very relaxing place. The beach is stretch as far as you could see and you will like the white sand. What is amazing to me is to see so many birds and the huge Pelicans, you will see it upclose.
This was constructed in a good materials. It is very obvious anyway. Hard solid wood and the posts are really that thick. I hope, it will endure when nature forces strike again.
The building that you see at the far end is The Isle Hotel and Casino. That place is the location of so many Hotels and Casino. It is only 10 minutes ride. Fascinating View right?
I was looking at the newly constructed bridge too. And yes, Hurricane Katrina knocks the old bridge down....TOTALLY! They built it higher and stronger this time. One of the best places to jog and hang out is that bridge. There is a pedestrian walkway on it and next time, I will be going there and show you the view over looking to where I am now. Hoping you like the pictures! Visit this place and you will love it!
