Vegetable 'Lil Garden

I have a lil vegetable garden at the side of our house. We have few tomatoes and as you can see, it started to bear one.It was so windy earlier and since we live nearby the beach, the sand was blown up this area.It is nice to see them growing since I started planting them with seeds. I hope it will grow well.I have beets, zuchini, squash, watermelon and cantaloupe. I am actually experimenting the soil and the location.So far, it is only the tomatoes that bear fruits. Hmmmm.
Another tomato in a pot.This is like my nursery area. These are beets and when they are ready to transfer, I will plant them in another area.These are carrots. I saw three rabbits behind the bushes. I guess I will have problems in the future LOL. I will replant these when its ready to transfer.

Dreaming The Manta Ride

May 2009 is the most awaited opening Manta, the only flying roller coaster of its kind in the world. This attraction can be found only at Sea World in Orlando, Florida. Manta is an exciting ride because the 32 riders will experience an up close animal encounter with a head-first, face-down ride. I am not really crazy with roller coaster rides but with Manta, I would not missed it. I want to experience the thrill of gliding and flying like a giant ray. It will be an adventure ride worth dreaming for.

Garden Update

I know, I keep procrastinating the posting of the latest update of my garden. But, here's the picture now. Not much but, it is blooming. I turned off my cbox in here because there are fake sites that I clicked to visit. My PC hang and pop-up came up. Was it a virus infected site? I do not know. That's what happen before when my PC refuse to open and I have to let an IT fixed it. Much as I wanted to read your messages but, I have to take precautionary measure. Anyway, enjoy the pictures below.

Enjoying Blogging Before I Work

I guess few weeks from now, I will not be blogging. Probably I can only blog for the night if I am not tired for the days work. I will try to post all the pictures as many as I wanted to and I don't mind if the Google Crawler can't read it. If I can't get back my Rank fine but if it will, it won't matter anyway. By then, my free time will be limited.I am just thinking what's ahead. Anyway, here is my friend turtle. Visiting at the side area of our property. I wonder if this is the same turtle that I saw the last time.

I can not keep it because I have no time to take care f it. Besides, he likes to wander in the forest. He never leave our property anyway. Sometimes, he just stay at the backyard.

My husband bought this new Mini Netbook PC. This is an Acer- Aspire One brand and color Blue with 10.1" screen. It is easy to assemble, Intel Atom Processor, 1GB Memory, 160GB Hard Drive, 3 Cell Battery and it has a Windows XP software.

The first PC that we ordered online is an HP but the software used was Linux and we didn't know it. Since he is so used to Windows XP, we just exchange it to Acer-Aspire One. It is really the best. The built-in webcam is clear, the video conferencing and chat is excellent. My hubby loves it. Oh by the way, the original price is only $338.00 in Walmart. Guess what? Longest Line

This is one of the longest lines among the attractions here in Magic Kingdom. We are heading to watch the Haunted Mansion. Inside, the lights and sounds are awesome. Of course, not scary but I applaud the technology they have. It seems like you are in the mansion of Casper, the Friendly Ghost.

Scary Clouds

When we have stormy days here in Mississippi, the clouds forming in the sky looked like this. Sometimes, it looks so scary. June starts the Hurricane Season so, people living in the East Coast of the US are prepared. The Gulf Coast from Florida, Mississippi, Texas and New Orleans are mostly the State that usually hit by hurricanes. The only consolation of these places are the beautiful coast line and the awesome beaches.-(New Bridge connecting the Biloxi and Ocean Springs)

Turtle Friend

When I went out today, I saw this turtle walking towards our house. This turtle is our frequent visitor and we feed him almost everyday. We live inside the National Park so, animals are just around us. This turtle is harmless so, I am okay about this. This Park has wide area of marsh so, turtles are just everywhere. The gators though, not in our area. If we travel 3 minutes, then, the gators are there. I only saw one though.

The Good News And The Bad News

The good news are all about my legal papers here in the US. I got my green card yesterday. I submit my papers last Feb.26, 2009 and yesterday I was given a Welcome Letter. That is really FAST!

Anyway, I was grinning with joy but, the whole day was really stressful for me because I came to realized that Blogosphere is like a wheel. We manage to mingle virtual friends using this technology and impart knowledge as vast as we can't imagine. We get hooked on it.

We are overwhelmed with happiness when we shared joy, good news and triumphs. We always celebrate friendship with glee. We are likewise driven to sadness when our blogger friends experience terrible loss, encountered misfortune and heartaches.

But, what if I made a mistake? What if I made Bad Choices? What if I allow things to happen and too late for me to correct that mistake? Are these virtual friends in the blogosphere will be there for me?

I read some articles before, yep- still in blogosphere. Both individual exchange heated arguments not on ideas and principles but, they are really throwing trash to each other. It was so sad that the readers are giving them more words to ignite the Hate!

This week I was able to read some posts that instead of discussing the actions being done, some bloggers are attacking the physical attributes of the person. There is mockery and they joke about it as if they are so righteous. If you are the victim I will be on your side and I condemn the bad action. But, even if I condemn the action of the person who made some bad decision, it is not right to mock or judge her/him .

Late Posting

I know this is already too late to post but, I still need to. These items in a box was waiting for me in the old house.

Summer Vacation At Branson

Summer is a good time to have a vacation with our family. One best place to travel is a trip to Branson. Blog Updates

Hello everyone! I woke up so late today...woooo. I was blog hopping whole day yesterday and updating my bloglist, I am not done yet. While blogging and blog hopping yesterday, the TV is on switching from one channel to another. I watched MSNBC, I love "Morning Joe" and switch to Fox News and at night, my eyes was glued on American Idol. Here is my POST about the Winner.

My garden- It is doing good. The flower garden is blooming okay. It is actually my Father-in-law's garden so I can't beautify it in my way. It is totally 95% better than the first time I arrived here. I will post some pictures later today. My vegetable garden, I only have beets, carrots, tomato, squash, cucumber and zuchini. I tried planting the water melon and cantaloupe. I am not familiar with the weather here but, this will be an experiment. It grows okay since it started with seeds.

My PPP Opportunity- I am so thankful to BEN THOMAS , an advertiser who offered me a $50 in one post and it was paid already. Good news had a bad news too. Last week, PPP suspended me for two weeks. My conscience is clear and I follow the rules. I can't do anything with the suspension, so, I have to wait. Almost all of you knew that I am loyal to IZEA right?

American Idol 2009 Winner

Kris Allen won the 2009 American Idol. I was using Tweeter while watching the show and the Finale ended with a big BANG!

The show started with flashback of the judges unforgettable Idol moments:

• the funny expression from Randy Jackson;
• the "sweety" words of saying NO from Kara DioGuardi;
  
• the bizarre adjectives used by Paula Abdul;
• and the collection of facial expression of Simon Cal.

Then, the top 13 American idol performed on stage. They look so amazing in White. Carrie Underwood, Lionel Ritchie, Black-Eyed Peas, Kiss, Cyndi Lauper , Santana and many more came to grace the show. The performance on this Finale was truly awesome.

American Idol gave three awards which really blows my mind...LOL! Golden Idol Award-Outstanding Male is Nick Mitchell and Outstanding Female is Tatiana del Toro. The performance of Nick is great in his own way. That is his way of entertaining and he is a comedian. But, Tatiana del Toro made a mistake of pushing herself too much. She is talented and the voice is good but, what she did is totally ridiculous. I feel so bad for her.

I like the showdown with Kara DioGuardi and Katrina Darrell. At first, I said to myself why she stoop down to Katrina? But then, she made a point! She was just doing it because American Idol will give BIG BUCKS to her charity for a cause. I admire her for swallowing her pride. The performance was great. Kara prove to Katrina Darrell that Katrina is just the bikini girl and Kara is the Diva!LOL! In fairness to Katrina, she is pretty and her body is great!

Whirlwind finale events huh? I was not shocked when Kris Allen announced as the winner. He was saved by votes for I guess five times. He deserved it anyway. If Adam won, it would be great but, America voted Kris. The votes have spoken. Kris is my bet too. I said so in some of American Idol posts before. Kris will win by votes.

NASA: Kennedy Space Center

These pictures were taken on my first visit to Fort Canaveral, Florida. This building is a place intended for the visitors and tourists to meet the real Astronauts. There is a specific schedule and during this hour, we missed it. We are always on a hurry, don't you know that? I think I have to go back there ALONE..LOL!

Here I am covering my face from the 90 degrees heat of the sun as if I am waving....LOL! Just look at the background hehehe. I am in the Rocket Garden. These are historic rockets. Each one tells a story about man's quest for the moon and stars.

Kennedy Space Center: Observation Gantry

I am in the Launch Complex 39 Observation Gantry area. At the top of this gantry, you can see a 360 degrees view of the Launch Pads, the Crawlerway and the Vehicle Assembly Building. That building at the far end is the building where the scientists assemble the rocket.

The NASA bus will take the visitors to any Tour Stop.

Bass Pro Shops : Shopping

Oh! I love Bass Pro Shops. We went to this store accompanying our friend who wanted to buy a trailer for her boat and a life jacket. They will be traveling from Orlando to Keywest and spent a weekend in that beautiful place.

I have to take a remembrance of this car. Look at my blouse, looks the same waaaa...LOL! This store is in Orlando location.

You can buy in this store all the fishing gear that you need including boats. I love the whole arrangement inside and they even have artificial waterfall in a jungle-like design area. They also have huge aquarium with variety of fish in it. I wanted to go there again this week but in Mississippi.

Untold Hero: Dee

What would you do if you saw someone so sick and throwing up blood? What is your normal reaction? What is the normal human reaction probably?

You will not just stand and stare at the person won't you? Well, that was the scenario last night at Orlando International Airport at the Rental Counter Area. The woman above is Dee and made an incredible act of compassion to a 20 year old girl who is throwing up blood on the tile floor in front of the Enterprise/National counter.

She is a Rental Agent in one of the Rental Car Companies in that area. She was busy processing the customer form but, when her customer said, " I hope that girl is OK." She said , "What girl?" She was shocked that everyone in that lobby ( rental areas are crowded take note) never did anything for that girl. Even the employees didn't call 911! You know why they did not call? The in-charge is on break, that is the answer of the woman in the counter. But, she can use that phone right? Passive reaction! Dee observed that there are many people walked by, looked and stared at the young girl who is in great pain and the people DID NOTHING. Dee ran towards the 20 year old girl and she saw blood all over and immediately called 911. That is a normal mind set of a normal Human behavior, right? She has shown care even to strangers. The counter of DEE is a bit distant from where that girl was but because she cared, she had to do the right thing . THAT ACTION MADE A DIFFERENCE! We should show compassion to a stranger in this kind of situation.

The 20 year old girl has a Crohn's disease. It is a lifelong inflammatory bowel disease. Parts of the digestive system get swollen and have deep sores called ulcers. Crohn’s disease usually is found in the last part of the small intestine and the first part of the large intestine. But it can develop anywhere in the digestive tract. The 20 year old girl has also kidney stones so she was in a lot of pain. Knowing this unbearable pain, Dee added, " It was hard for me to not cry."

You made a good job DEE! You are a hero!

3. Wish I could start my Educational Grant for those who are poor but deserving students in less than 2 years.
4. Wish I could WIN THE LOTTO hahaha...easy short cut huh...
5. Wish I could find a Filipino Friend in this place. I never had one....WAAAA!
6. Wish I could REALLY WORK!

Danny Veltri Won The Hell's Kitchen Season 5

Oh my my! Danny my favorite won the finals for season 5 of Hell's Kitchen. Go Floridian! I am so proud of him. After reading his bio I became a fan. He is not intimidated with being a country-boy. He is so good in the kitchen. He knows what he is doing. Congratulations Danny!

Of course Giovanni, Ben and Carol were there to help him in the kitchen. It started well and he finished up ahead. Good Job!

Andrea, LA and Lacey helped Paula DaSilva in her kitchen and she had an Excellent service too. I like her restaurant design than Danny's. I really thought she will win the finale but, the guests were the ones who gave their ratings. Danny was declared the winner. Are you disappointed? I just like him to win because he has the talent in the kitchen. He had the years of experience to back it up.
