"Deadliest Catch" is just one of my favorite shows on TV. It captures the real scenario of the lives of those men who makes a living by catching the Alaskan king crab. It's a risky job because one simple mistake, they can be thrown out from the ship and swallowed by the sea. There were men reported to have lost their lives during the filming of that show. This time, truTV's Black Gold will be showing us the lives of men working in the oil fields of West Texas. They will have 50 days to drill the four back-breaking holes in Texas.

Focus on the job is very important for these roughnecks if they are given an on-the job training on the oil fields. To avoid being yelled at or intimidated by their superior they should have common sense too. The job needs not only strength but also brains that function well.
