This is the famous Bourbon Sign at Bourbon Street in the New Orleans, Louisiana. This street runs the length of French Quarter, the famous neighborhood in New Orleans and was originally the center of the city in 1718. These pictures were taken last year when we visited Cafe' du Monde in NewOrleans. Check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bourbon_Street
Here is another page to visit to know more about the history of this place. There are so many tourists who roam around the French Quarter. There were locals who blend in the crowd. Expect anything unexpected once you are in this place. I saw people dressed up in weird costumes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Quarter
Little shop in one of the corners of Bourbon Street. We were tired boutique hopping and by this time, we are looking for a fine dining restaurant in the area. That is our cousin across the street, observing.
We have a souvenir photo here. Honestly, this place looks like the Divisoria in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. Anyway, its already four 0'clock at this time so, the tourists went back to their hotels. It is not good to be here after sunset, so they say.
If you visit this place, be attentive with your personal belongings. When you park your car, make sure it is in the right parking lot with guards. It is better to pay for the parking area and be secured than, park for free. I advise you not to park your car anywhere. Please, bring your valuables and never leave anything that might trigger interest for bad elements.
See this guy? The "Death" personality is common here...LOL. In the other corner, I saw the Drunken Master sleeping on the road hehehe. The place is nice and I would definitely go back for a visit.
